All about Barbados
You will get everything you need in near Speightstown. There are supermarkets and little traditional shops.
You will get lots of fresh fruit on the markets. It is an ideal place to get in touch with the native bajans.
There are markets in Bridgetown on the Cheapside and Fairchild Street.
With a car you can reach Julie’N Supermarket along the Highway 2A towards the south right at the roundabout with
Emancipation Statue. You can get cheap supplies here.
You should not miss the fishmarket in Oistins (southcoast) where you can buy fresh fish for a good price.
Go on a friday night you can eat fresh fish in a great atmosphere.
An idea is to order online at Supercentre a day before the travel to Barbados, when you arrive your
shopping gets delivered right to the door!
Supercentre
Supermarkets are well developed now, no matter if JBs Mastermart in Wildey, Big B in Worthing,
Supercentre in Oistins or Holetown, Eddies in Speightstown or Pricesmart (for members),
Carltons at Black Rock or Jordans at Paynes Bay.
